METECH Product Warranty: Terms and Conditions
Coverage of METECH Product Warranty:
The METECH product warranty encompasses the repair or replacement (at the discretion of METECH) of your METECH device in case of defects arising from faulty materials or workmanship during the warranty period. Should any component no longer be available, METECH will replace it with a functional substitute part.
Exclusions from METECH product warranty Coverage:
METECH devices are designed and built to maintain high performance in standard domestic environments. If proper usage of a METECH device results in a malfunction within the warranty duration, we are committed to repairing or replacing it. Nonetheless, there are specific situations in which the METECH product warranty does not cover repairs or replacements.
These exceptions are explicitly presented and not buried in fine print.
The following are not covered:
- Normal wear and tear, including components subject to gradual deterioration (e.g., fuses, belts, brush bars, cables, etc.).
- Incidental damage
- Damage due to usage not in accordance with the device's rating plate.
- Damage stemming from failure to perform recommended appliance maintenance.
- Damage caused by external factors such as transit, weather, power outages, or voltage spikes.
- Failures resulting from circumstances beyond METECH’s control.
- Faults caused by:
- Negligent, reckless, or improper device use.
- Use of the METECH device not in line with the METECH Operating Manual.
- Using the METECH device for purposes other than normal domestic use in the country of purchase.
- Utilization of parts not assembled or installed following METECH instructions.
- Use of non-METECH Genuine Components for parts and accessories.
- Incorrect assembly or installation (unless performed by METECH).
- Repairs or modifications conducted by parties other than METECH or its authorized agents.

Terms and Conditions of the Warranty:
The terms and conditions of the METECH product warranty are outlined as follows:
- The warranty becomes effective on the date of purchase.
- Presentation of proof of delivery/purchase is required before any warranty-related service can be undertaken. Without such evidence, any service provided will be subject to charges. Please retain your purchase receipt or delivery note.
- All service will be conducted by METECH or its authorized agents.
- Replaced components will become the property of METECH.
- Repair or replacement of your device under warranty will not extend the warranty duration.

Initiation of Warranty:
A METECH product warranty becomes effective on the purchase date.
Device Registration Process:
All METECH devices are covered by a comprehensive parts and labour warranty. The THz CA series is covered for 12 months from date of purchased. Accessories and tools are excluded from this coverage.
The authorized distributor of METECH in Malaysia is Me Pro International Sdn Bhd.
To register your device, please send an email to [email protected] and provide the following details:
1. Owner's name
2. Serial number (located behind the clear bin) (e.g., 123-MY-1234567X)
3. Date of purchase
4. Place of purchase
5. Proof of purchase (attach to the email)
6. Contact number
7. Address
Please note that the warranty is only valid for locally purchased devices from our authorized retailer.
